As is typical for young men in the Iron Kingdom nobility, Antoine was to come of age through the tradition of dragon hunting.
During his first hunt, Antoine and his trusty cohort, George, came upon their prey. The dragon was sleeping peacefully, but awoke with a start and was far more ferocious than expected. George managed to defeat the dragon, but lost his leg in the battle.
After returning George to the Iron Kingdom, Antoine furtively returned to the slain dragon’s lair. He realized the dragon was only trying to protect her whelp. Clad in dragon skin armor, the whelp mistook him as a parent and bonded with him.
Antoine returned home and secretly raised the dragon in his home’s unused dungeon. He named the dragon Linton, and learned firsthand that dragons were not the monsters he had been led to believe, but in fact intelligent and kind creatures.
Years later, Antoine now wields his considerable charisma and charm to fight the practice of dragon hunting.
