The self-proclaimed "Queen of the Pirates," Baozhai of the Black Jade is a fierce pirate who once commanded a massive armada, a dread terror to the Iron Kingdom and all traders of the sea.
Sixteen years ago, sea monsters decimated her armada. Now she owns but a single ship - her nigh-invincible Turtle Ship, Teotul , which she “liberated” on a previous adventure.
Without a crew, Baozhai has become a fixture in Port Maerifa’s bars, where she tries to drown her sorrows. Loud, boisterous and an aggressive drunk, the locals know to steer clear of her.
The Iron Kingdom’s occupying force will do anything to keep her from terrorizing the high seas again, but Baozhai is determined to rebuild her crew and set sail for new adventures.
